Samsung Innovates Again With New Galexy Tab

September 5th, 2010 at 12:12 am - Posted by admin
There?s a lot of buzz surrounding Samsung?s new Galexy Tab, the company?s first attempt at a tablet device which is scheduled for launch this month in Europe. Many people have been wondering what companies would be the first to rival the already famous Apple iPad which was launched back in April and the Galexy Tab without a doubt falls into that category.
So what makes the Galexy Tab a true competitor in the all new world of tablet computers? For starters Samsung has been creating highly innovative products for the mobile market for several years so designing a touch screen tablet device is not exactly a far stretch.
The Galexy Tab comes equipped with 2 high quality digital cameras, one on each side of the device, with built-in LED flash which can be used for taking photos, videos or even video conferencing. Videos are recorded at 30fps and 720480 resolution.
It?s also Powered by the Google Android 2.2 operating system which in itself is enough to get the attention of potential consumers. The Android web browser, Gmail and MS Exchange ActiveSync are also integrated. Samsung confirmed that the latest version of Flash will run smoothly on the new device.
It?s designed with a 7 inch screen and is powerd by a PowerVR SGX540 1.0GHz application processor. Full 1080p HD videos are supported and the battery allows for roughly 7 hours of video play.
Needless to say it has built in WiFi that supports wireless A, B, G or N networks.
Currently there is no release date for Samsung?s Galexy Tab in Canada or the United States but it?s expected to be available at some point in the next few months.
